Sylvia McNair, Soprano, performs frequently on the operatic, concert and recital stages of Europe and the United states. Recent seasons have included performances of Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, Ilia in Mozart's Idomeneo and Mahler's Fourth Symphony. She has appeared with the English Concert (Trevor Pinnock conducting) and the Monteverdi Choir in London (John Eliot Gardner conducting), with the opera companies of Berlin, Santa Fe and St. Louis and with major symphonies throughout the U.S.
