Rosa Lamoreaux

Rosa Lamoreaux, Soprano, has been hailed for her radiant, engaging and effortless singing. The Washington Post has described her singing as "one of Washington's greatest natural resources." She has been critically acclaimed for her performances at the Bach festivals of Bethlehem and Carmel, and in Leipzig, Berlin and Halle, Germany. She has performed recitals in Germany, Italy, Austria, Denmark, England and Brazil as well as numerous concerts in the United States.She has appeared with the Atlanta Symphony and the Cincinnati Symphony, under Robert Shaw, at the Kennedy Center for Norman Scribner and the Choral Arts Society, and with J. Reilly Lewis for the Cathedral Choral Society and Washington Bach Consort.

Ms. Lamoreaux is an active chamber music performer and has toured with "Musicians from Marlboro." She is the soprano in the award winning Vocal Arts Quartet which has been featured at many European Music Festivals, and is also a member of Hesperus.

Many of her performances have been broadcast on National Public Radio, and her recordings include The Mass in B Minor with The Bach Choir on Dorian, Messe Solemnele of Berlioz and Four Centuries of Song on the Koch label, Christmas with The Choral Arts Society on the Gothic label and Best of the Fest from the Carmel Bach Festival. Her upcoming performances include oratorio and chamber music for the Rheingau Festival in Germany, Belvedere Schloss in Vienna, Austria, the Kennedy Center and the Bach Festival of Carmel.
