Janice Taylor, Contralto, has been acclaimed as "one of the great contraltos in the world today" and hailed as "one of Canada's national treasures." She performs regularly with orchestras and opera companies in such major music centers as New York, Boston, Washington (DC), Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Toronto, Montreal, Munich, Stuttgart and Milan. She has sung Bach's St. Matthey Passion under the direction of Helmuth Rilling in Carnegie Hall, and has recorded Beethoven's Missa Solemnis with Robert Shaw and the Atlanta Symphony.
